The Junction System
The cycling network in the Sauerland and Siegerland-Wittgenstein regions has been organized into a honeycomb structure. “Junctions” have been created at the corners of each honeycomb cell, connecting the cells to one another. From there, you can continue your ride in multiple directions. The junctions are numbered sequentially and provide good orientation—so you won’t lose your way even without a map.
