His farm store looks like something out of a picture book, with its pretty appearance, the large selection of regional products - not just from Hof Siele itself - and the friendly, inviting farmyard atmosphere.
Hof Siele was founded in 1483 and has been owned by the Gerlach family since 1844. It consists of 79 hectares of grassland and 28 hectares of arable land on which maize and cereals are grown. In addition to the Gerlach family, 80 dairy cows and their offspring also live on the farm. Their milk is not only delivered to the Campina dairy cooperative, but is also sold in the farm's own store.
In addition, the lovingly designed farm store also sells the farm's own eggs, broilers and products from other regional producers. The wide range of products on offer includes produce from many local farmers and is well worth a visit.
Anyone who needs eggs or milk outside opening hours is also well catered for at Hof Siele - the egg cupboard and milk vending machine make it possible.
The Gerlach family's products can also be found at the farmers' market in Olpe on Wednesdays from 9 am to 1 pm.
