Directions

The barrier-free circular trail begins at the parking lot of the Olpe leisure pool and leads past leisure facilities such as the mini golf course, boat hire and the "Biggesee Bootshaus" lakeside restaurant. The idyllic route now runs parallel to the lakeshore and, with its even asphalt surface, invites you to take a relaxing stroll, cycle or inline skate. After around 1.2 kilometers, you reach a section of the path whose incline has been softened by several platforms to make it barrier-free. Now you cross the Biggesee over a small bridge that was built as part of the construction work on the Biggerand Canal. The circular trail now continues to the picturesque Valentinskapelle chapel and then back to the starting point via a narrow path close to the shore.

Take the train to Olpe station or the bus to Olpe central bus station, then walk a few minutes to the Valentinsrunde.
