New edition of the "Fishing experience" flyer

Biggesee-Listersee nature experience area / News / New edition of the "Fishing experience" flyer

The Biggesee-Listersee Tourism Association has updated and reissued the "Fishing Experience" flyer.

In addition to hiking, cycling, swimming and numerous other water adventures, fishing is a popular sport on both lakes. The Biggesee-Listersee nature experience area attracts anglers with idyllic fishing spots and an impressive variety of species. The lakes are rich in fish species such as eel, perch, vendace, pike, carp, lake trout, zander and many more.

As the owner of the lakes, the Ruhrverband provides information and rules for the use of Biggesee and Listersee in its recreational regulations, which must be observed by everyone. A valid fishing permit contract (FEV) is required for fishing - either as a daily, two-day, weekly or annual permit. There are also limited fishing licenses for the drinking water area of the Lister. Minimum sizes and closed seasons must be observed.

In addition, boats larger than 7m2 or boats with an electric motor require a corresponding sticker - whether for fishing or for leisure activities in and on the water. The boat and electric motor boat stickers are available monthly from April to October or as an annual sticker. The use of an electric motor is only permitted on Biggesee and with a valid sticker; it is prohibited on Listersee. The Biggesee-Listersee Tourism Association acts as the point of sale for the Ruhrverband.

"The flyer gives anglers a comprehensive initial overview of the fishing areas and guidelines on Biggesee and Listersee. QR codes refer to the Ruhrverband's recreational regulations and other fishing experiences on our website www.biggesee-listersee.com", reports Anne Reucker, Head of the Biggesee-Listersee Tourism Association.

The flyer is now available free of charge from the tourist information offices in Attendorn, Meinerzhagen and Olpe as well as the Drolshagen Citizens' Office, the municipality of Wenden and the Biggesee-Listersee Tourism Association. Tourist service providers and businesses can obtain brochures for display from their local tourist information office.
